Soya Lecitin ( Technical grade GMO - Food grade NON-GMO)

Lecithin is a generic term to designate any group of yellow-brownish fatty substances occurring in animal and plant tissues. Lecithin was first isolated in 1846 by the French chemist and pharmacist Maurice Gobley.  It is usually available from sources such as soy beans, eggs, milk, marine sources, rapeseed, cottonseed and sunflower. It has low solubility in water but is an excellent emulsifier.  Lecithin is sold as a food supplement and for medical/technical uses. It comes in two versions are genetically modified organism (GMO) which is technical grade and non- GMO used as food & pharma grade.
