We Are Transitioning Our Business Processes to Digital Through BPM

Providing information about the digital transformation projects of Kimpaz, Selda Yilmaz Kahriman, the Commercial Director of Kimpaz, said, “Through the BPM project, our goal is to expedite workflows by migrating all paper-based processes to the digital realm and ensuring that any remaining paper-based information is digitally archived. In our current structure, the approval process for an order necessitates approval from three different individuals, each of whom requires specific information regarding the customer (such as the customer’s risk level, credit limit, etc.).

Despite this information being readily available in the ERP system, the sales team initially printed out the relevant data on paper and then had to seek approval from the respective individuals. The introduction of the BPM system eliminates the need for repetitive manual searches for this information, allowing approving personnel to provide their approval digitally when alerted by the system. This also reduces the workload on sales staff.

In BPM projects, all processes are gradually deployed, starting with those that pose the greatest challenges to the company. The planning of the initial process of our project was conducted comprehensively. We are planning to launch this project in mid-May.”

Sharing insights into other ongoing activities, Kahriman said, “We are currently working on enhancing both the efficiency of the sales team and customer satisfaction.” Our CRM efforts will enable us to monitor all sales team processes from a single point, assign tasks to them, and track customer-based performances. As we have begun storing data in corporate systems through our Business Intelligence project, such data should be evaluated and presented to the company management as soon as possible. We live in a fast-paced world where even yesterday’s information can quickly become outdated.

Through the Business Intelligence project, our goal is to provide company management with immediate access to information such as daily, weekly, and monthly sales, costs, and collection status, and to develop reports that facilitate rapid decision-making in the event of any issues requiring intervention.”
